 Tips on Using a Fondue Pot
  • Use the right fondue pot.  Ceramic fondue pots are best for cheese or chocolate and metal fondue pots are best for broth, oil, wine, or beer fondues.
  • Use only flavorful liquids, such as broth, beer, or wine.  Never use water.
  • Cook your fondue recipe on the stove and then serve in the fondue pot.
  • Never let your fondue recipe boil in the pot.
  • Keep cheese and dessert fondues at a low temperature (about 120 degrees).
