The highly polished stainless steel lids are designed to fit snugly for minimal rattling. Pans (without non stick coating) are oven safe at all temperatures and are dishwasher safe. Pans with the DuPont non stick coating are oven safe up to 500 degrees and are not dishwasher safe.
