These ridges protect the nonstick surface from abrasion. Circulon 2 Cookware is made from hard anodized aluminum that provides fast and even heating. Aluminum anodizing is a unique electrochemical process that increases the thickness and hardness of aluminum. As a result, anodized aluminum is twice as hard as stainless steel making it extremely durable. The exterior of this cookware is also nonstick, which makes it super easy to clean. This cookware has phenolic (heat-resistant plastic) handles that are oven safe to 350 degrees. The handle's ergonomic design gives you a comfortable grip while lifting the pan.
