This espresso machine also features a ground coffee by-pass doser that enables you to easily serve decaf or a special request. It can also be programmed to pre-grind or pre-brew. The pre-grinding function allows you to grind coffee for the next two cups, which saves time when making multiple cups of espresso. The pre-brewing process slightly moistens the coffee before the actual brewing begins which brings out a fuller aroma of the coffee. This espresso machine also has an automatic de-scaling cycle and water hardness setting.
The Gaggia Syncrony Compact Espresso machine is easy to use. The 44 oz. water reservoir is removable and has a handle for easy gripping. The reservoir is also easy to access and refill while in the machine. There is a thumb release lever for the brew group that makes removing the brew group easy. The turbo frother frothing wand swivels to 180 degrees and also functions as a hot water dispenser.

Gaggia machines use a 1250 watts heating system that provides for a shorter heat up time. This pressure relief system exists to immediately remove pressure from the portafilter once the espresso shot is completed. This ensures a dryer puck for less mess and easier cleanup.
